MEMBRANE TECH TO LAUNCH WATER FILTERS

Membrane Technologies Ltd, a joint venture between Titanium Equipment & Anode Mfg Co Ltd and Membrane Research Technology Singapore Ltd, will soon introduce Team nil B, a product that offers pure water for homes. The pore size of the membrane cartridge of the product is 20 times smaller than the smallest bacteria. It can be fitted to a municipal tap and has a two-way tap attachment. The company plans to introduce different membranes for water treatment, sewage treatment and waste water recycling. (khr)

AUTOCOP TO LAUNCH HOME SECURITY SYSTEMS

Autocop India Pvt Ltd, Nasik, which manufactures auto security systems, proposes to introduce home security systems and cordless headphones in three months. The home security system comprises sensor and computer controlled main unit supported by mobile stations. There are also plans to launch new models of central locking and security systems for cars by the end of October 1998. Autocop has entered into an agreement with Concorde Motors Ltd for the supply of security systems for cars. (uh)
